"Xaloc" (Schallock) is not only the name of the gentle south-east wind on Mallorca, which makes the hot summer months on the island so pleasant.
Xaloc is also the name of the small but very fine bodega in Mallorca's northeast, where the Tramuntana mountains slowly fade into a tranquil hilly landscape. The social center, is the for the island pleasingly authentic and picturesque 15,000-soul town of Pollensa.
The bodega also owes its name to the fact that all the vines are oriented in the cardinal direction of the wind Xaloc.
On a good three hectares of the very best and intensively cultivated, mineral-rich soil, the widely planted vines extend over a beautiful hilly landscape, surrounded by the typical Mallorcan stone walls and colorful macchia bushes.
